Word of the night - Friday

has anyone every told you that you were glinty?

workin' on the weekend

alleyway eateries

So it seems like it's becoming a tradition... we've been having these amazingly beautiful Fridays in San Francisco where I am inspired to capture the city. When I'm "out in the field" working (as my Mother calls it, or as I call it: my sanity; also known as: me waking up in San Francisco every day), I enjoy taking little snapshots of things that catch my eye.

The first Friday I did this it was Chinatown. The second Friday it was South Park. Now, this Friday I am calling it "Alleyway Eateries" because it was just so cute to see this little mid-day city escapes wedged in between the buildings.

building!

i came home from work today and built my new bookcase. i didn't actually "build" it, i just connected two already assembled pieces to make one tall bookcase.

Word of the day - oblivious

i don't really have time to be blogging right now because i need to go to work, but i was hoping that by making one little post with the word of the day i would ease my mind enough to get through my day. :)

i had some insomnia last night... first time since i started working... lovely.

Quote of the night - Friday

"oops!"

not only a city in Denver

And you thought South Park was only a little town in Denver where the 4 greatest 8 year old boys lived... wrong. It's a cute little neighborhood in San Francisco too. I see a pattern of my Fridays including SF city exploration field trips. hmmmmm... :)

the twins didn't win

my adopted team... the twins... kinda played like crap tonight. but, we had great seats!

Humor of the day

Two Texans are sitting on a plane from Dallas and an old Jewish Texan is sitting between them.
The first Texan says, "My name is Roger. I own 250,000 acres. I have 1,000 head of cattle and they call my place The Jolly Roger."

The second Texan says, "My name is John. I own 350,000 acres. I have 5,000 head of cattle and they call my place Big Johns."

They both look down at the Jewish man who says, "My name is Irving and I own 300 acres." Roger looks down at him and say, "300 Acres? What do you raise?" "Nothing" Irving says. "Well then, what do you call it?" Asked John. The little old Jewish man says, "Downtown Dallas."

Bachelorette party - WITHOUT a Hummer Limo

Spyder is getting married in 3 weeks so we had to celebrate her final moments as a single lady by going to a club called Silk. Is a bachelorette party complete without a penis cake? I think not.
