We went to a Giants game and watched the fog roll in.

Reliving our wedding weekend

This afternoon we decided to relive our wedding weekend. We went to the ferry building...


We had lunch at Yank Sing and stood in the exact spot where we were married...


We rode a cable car...


And we even went back to the Hyatt and sat in the lobby for a while.


The weather today was as nice as it was in November when we got married. I'm not sure if it was more strange when it was warm and sunny in November, or that it was warm and sunny in August! Don't forget the famous Mark Twain quote, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."

That's why I love SF.

California update

We arrived in Northern California last night. Our friends picked us up from the airport and we went straight for burritos in San Francisco. I had too much fun eating it to take pictures of it.

Today I had a pedicure with my dear friend Lindsay. I haven't been able to get a decent one in Amsterdam, so this was a special treat. Mini (pink) cupcakes were had and then Dave and I strolled around north Berkeley with friends in the evening. It feels good to be home.

We're so ready to visit home

We have lived in Amsterdam for almost 8 months now and we are ready for a visit home. We've been enjoying summer time in Amsterdam but we're looking forward to getting to experience some summer time in California as well. Even though we are extremely excited about our trip I think we are going to miss Amsterdam... just a little bit... look at how gorgeous it is here!
