Minnesota visit

We spent a few days in Minnesota, taking the bump to visit her grandparents there. However, I didn't really take any pictures of our apple picking, visits with friends or Rosh Hashana celebration. I only snapped a few at the Twins game. It was a grey and wet day, and even though we loved the new Target Field, we longed for the dome.

New Minnesota Freeman kitties!

Last weekend we lost a very dear and sweet little member of the Freeman family. So, this weekend my MIL decided it was time to bring some kitty life back into her home!

This little boy kitty was originally named Skippyjon Jones, but we have renamed him Jonah. He's only 4 1/2 months old and he's such a kitten! He was only shy for a few minutes and then he romped around and played with us all evening.

This gorgeous girl is named Philadelphia, and has yet to be renamed. She is about a year and half old and is super shy. Philly is still unsure of her new surroundings, and her new adopted little brother. I'm sure she'll come around in no time.

Do you notice a trend for one grey & white kitty and one orange kitty in our families? :)

Visiting UMN

Well, of course while we're in Minnesota we planned a trip to visit my school. It was weird walking on to campus for the first time as a grad student who's been taking classes since June... online! It was a gorgeous fall day.

Guess who is going back to school? ME!

I found out yesterday, although waited until today to post about it so you all wouldn't think it was an April Fools joke, that I got accepted to the University of Minnesota!

This summer I will be starting an online-only graduate level certificate program in Parent Education. Watch out all of you soon-to-be-parents out there, because your friend Tor is getting certified to help you out!

Big Buck Hunter

Look out Bucks!

Look out big brother!

Some of us secretly knew how sharp of a shooter I was...

I still felt guilty killing bunnies though.
