little pink friend in the freezer

My brother's freezer broke and so everything in there started melting. I opened up the door to see what was going on, and I saw this natural formation. We think it was some sherbert that dripped down but we did not do a taste test to confirm our prediction. Nature creates some of the most beautiful things, don't ya think?
