Still struggling

For some reason I'm struggling with jet lag pretty badly this time around. I'm hoping today is the last day I have to deal with it.

Back in Amsterdam and Stuart needed a backpack ride ASAP!

We were home for about 20 minutes when Stuart decided he needed a backpack ride. Hey, it's a reasonable demand for a kitty who has been without his parents for 2 1/2 weeks.

Alec and Wailin's Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner

Tomorrow is Alec and Wailin's wedding so today they had a rehearsal. Look at those dashing groomsmen!

And, what would a wedding be without a Chinese banquet thrown in somewhere!? :)

Some views from my grandparents' apartment. Lake Michigan, Navy Pier, and the Water Tower.

Reunion after 20 years!

Here I am with my best friends from 6th grade Jenny and Andrea. We all look exactly (well, almost exactly) the same.

We said goodbye to the Bay Area today and headed down to San Diego to spend some time with my family. First stop... FISH TACOS!

Giants game in a blanket of fog

We went to a Giants game and watched the fog roll in.

Reliving our wedding weekend

This afternoon we decided to relive our wedding weekend. We went to the ferry building...

We had lunch at Yank Sing and stood in the exact spot where we were married...

We rode a cable car...

And we even went back to the Hyatt and sat in the lobby for a while.

The weather today was as nice as it was in November when we got married. I'm not sure if it was more strange when it was warm and sunny in November, or that it was warm and sunny in August! Don't forget the famous Mark Twain quote, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."

That's why I love SF.
