another casualty to the cold

my new hermit crab, Flor, died early this morning. i know it's too cold here in SF for these little land crabs, but i don't know what to do! now my remaining little guy, Phoenix, has had to experience 2 tragedies in such a short amount of time. do i get him another friend or will i just be subjecting him to a potential third death this year? :(
