my lightbright kitty pumpkin and i hope you have a safe and wondeful halloween. don't eat too much candy... or DO eat too much candy! it's ok once and a while. at least that's what i'm telling myself as i wait for trick-or-treaters to stop by.
it's just a super annoying commerical and then there is a commercial about it being an annoying commercial and it's kind of funny. here is the original:
if a girl gets on an airplane leaving the Oakland airport (on Southwest airlines) at approximately 9:15am, and a boy gets in a car (a BMW Z4) leaving Los Angeles at approximately 9:20am, will they arrive at John Wayne airport in Orange County at the same time?
perhaps some of you have been wondering why the content of my blog over the last week has not really been about me or what i'm up to. it's mostly been random nothings. well, i've decided to make an official announcement today (although most of you already know) that i'm moving this week!
that's right... after over 6 years in San Francisco i am moving to Berkeley. East Bay here i come!
i've been waiting a week for the show tonight... and now this! derek stuck up for george! YAY! ahem... i mean, patrick dempsey stuck up for t.r. knight. watch out burke... you don't want to further injure your hand!!!

the word of the day today is Aggro. i always thought of it as a short form of the word aggressive, but i really use it to mean "going nuts" or doing something a lot; that meaning of aggresive.
the official definition according to riptionary.com is as follows:
Aggro Angry. Pissed off. Example: "That dude went aggro when that kook dropped in on him."
on the way in to the Twins game today we were interviewed by both Kron 4 News of the Bay Area and StarTribune.com from Minnesota. we took a lot of "booing" and such from A's fans... but we stuck it out none the less.
here we are in the beginning of the game still looking hopeful before things got too sad. at least we had our homer hankies for comfort. thanks to dave's dad for fedex-ing them to us from minneapolis!
when we were in berlin we ate the most yummy turkish egg thing called "edje". we decided that we wanted to cook it for our "middle eastern theme" house dinner tomorrow night, but we realized that "edje" is how it's called in germany and we couldn't find a recipe.
after some searching, we figured out that in english it's called eggah and now we're all set with the right ingredients! looks yum, huh!?
this weekend was the UCAC Retreat at the Walker Creek Ranch in Petaluma. you may notice there are no pictures of us. well, that's because we looked a little haggard in the morning when i was walking around taking these pics... the cabin and bunk bed shots should explain why. :)
