It's out with the old and in with the new for a well-known Berkeley haunt called Party Sushi. New menus (without fruit sushi - boo hoo), new higher prices, new decor... thank god the food was good at least because we were initially devastated. It's the end of an era.
Pictured below is Dave a couple of years ago at his birthday dinner. We often celebrated at Party Sushi because the sushi was good, cheap, and the place was already decorated for you!

What? What? No really, what? Why? How could this have happened? No more fruit sushi? What about the delicious little lump of eggplant appetizer? Is it really all different. NOOOOOOOOOOOO! This is the worst news of 2008 !
no little lump of eggplant, no yucky cold-ish noodles, NO FRUIT SUSHI. it's truly a tragedy. i would have liked one final hurrah there. :(
