However, I have a confession... I LOVE EASTER!!! Am I a bad Jew?
Every year I hope that a family will adopt me so I can dye eggs, hunt for them in the backyard, munch on jellybeans and pastel colored foil wrapped chocolate eggs. I want my very own Easter basket with fake green grass in it and a huge hollow chocolate bunny. And most of all, I want a large sugar egg that I can look into and see a happy sugary scene with a bunny inside. Maybe some day a non-Jewish family will invite me over for their Easter festivities and it will be too rude for me to say no. :)

We do ALL that stuff!! Why don't you come over and be our token Jew this Easter!!! We would LOVE to dye purple easter eggs with you and Elodie!
If we did any of that, I'd TOTALLY invite you over to join us. Alas, my Easter Sundays are usually spent at the Oakland Coliseum or on the ski slopes. ;) (not surprised, eh?)
Strange, but you would not be the first Jew that my family has taken in for Easter :)
we do most of that before Easter, so I could totally adopt you and nobody would be any the wiser!
actual Easter celebrations aren't nearly as fun now that we celebrate w/MIL- my dad's family sets up two egg hunts, one for the wee kids and one for the adult kids, and we run around shoving and beating each other up to get the best eggs. *sigh*, if I ever make it back to THAT celebration, you are totally invited.
Also, everyone knows Reese's pb eggs have the BEST ratio of pb to chocolate in the world, so I really hope you buy some for yourself next time you're at Target.
Open invitation to join us for egg huts and Easter-related fun....anytime! xoxo
